Essential Tips On How To Avoid Emergency Heating And AC Repair Service

Essential Tips On How To Avoid Emergency Heating And AC Repair Service

When it comes to your heating and cooling, it’s always better to hire a technician right away if you suspect something may be wrong with your furnace or air conditioner. It’s always recommended to contact an emergency heating and AC repair service technician in your area when the problem presents itself to avoid paying for a costly replacement. In this article, we’ll discuss ways to avoid paying for a costly HVAC repair and ensure your heating and cooling stay in excellent shape. If you have questions please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us anytime.

Be a Responsible Homeowner

One of the things you can do is to become a responsible homeowner. Remember, although you can always contact a heating and AC repair service technician to take care of repairs, it’s always better when you don’t have to call them. And how do you avoid calling and paying for the services of these professionals? You need to know how to properly care for your furnace and air conditioners.

Have a regular cleaning schedule for your heating and cooling system. But remember, only clean those you’re allowed to clean and that’s the outdoor unit and the visible parts of your system. Make sure nothing obstructs the unit and don’t put large objects on top of the units as that might damage the appliance.

Let your heating and cooling system rest as well. In the morning, when it’s not too hot, try to turn off the air conditioner first and open the windows to let the breeze in. It’s also cooler in the evening so you might want to consider using the fan for a few hours. During winter, try to dress for the weather so that you won’t have to keep adjusting the temperature. Get some electric blankets so that you can set the thermostat to a little higher temperature and save money.

If you have an outdoor unit, keep it off the sun or your appliance will only work harder, consuming more energy as a result. Install a window awning or put plants near the outdoor unit but make sure it also doesn’t disrupt airflow. Don’t place it too close to the unit.

For homeowners who just got a new heating and cooling system, don’t miss reading the manual especially when it’s your first time using the unit. If you have questions, please don’t hesitate to contact a heating and AC repair service technician in your area today. You may also directly get in touch with the manufacturer if you have questions about your unit.

Don’t Forget the Air Filters

As a responsible homeowner, you must also never forget to replace the air filters. You need clean filters to ensure your heating or cooling system stays efficient. When the filters are dirty, your unit will only work harder and this can lead to costly emergency heating and AC repair service. Also, when dirt and debris build up on the filters and they aren’t removed, you may end up breathing through the dust and dirt. You wouldn’t like that because it can actually worsen allergy symptoms.

If you have questions about what type of filters to install for your home, contact a heating and AC repair service technician. We can recommend the best ones.

When to change the air filters depends on their usage and the type of filters being used. The recommendation is to change the filters every month or every two months. Make sure you also follow the manufacturer’s recommendation when properly replacing the filters. Get in touch with an emergency heating and AC repair service technician if you have further questions.

If you want healthy indoor air quality, consider getting filters with high MERV ratings. Some examples of these filters include HEPA filters and UV filters. They are great for removing tiny particles in the air.

Improve Your Home’s Insulation

The heated and cooled air must stay inside your home to conserve energy. Air can escape through the walls, windows, roofs and other cracks or holes in your home. Poor installation also contributes to air loss. Take time to check on your home’s insulation; call a heating and AC repair service technician if you need assistance. With poor insulation, your heating and cooling system will work harder to keep you comfortable in the winter and summer. As a result, it will use up a lot of energy and it might also lead to a sudden malfunction of the furnace or the air conditioner.

It’s also important to fix cracks in the windows or in the roofs. Check your attic and crawl space as well and ensure they are properly insulated. You’ll be able to save more money and avoid calling an emergency heating and AC repair service technician when your home is sealed and you know how to properly care for your heating and cooling.

If you have other questions about furnaces or air conditioners, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with a heating and AC repair service technician in the area. We are more than happy to help.

Get the Right Size

Size is one of the factors to consider when buying a new air conditioner or furnace. Never purchase a smaller furnace or air conditioner if you intend to cool a large space. Otherwise, your unit will only work harder and this can significantly increase your bill. You might also end up calling for a heating and AC repair service technician when the air conditioner suddenly shuts down.

Don’t worry, if you can’t determine what AC size to purchase for your home, we can help. Our emergency heating and AC repair service technicians aren’t just licensed, they are also knowledgeable about furnaces and air conditioners. Also, we’re quite experienced with the different models of heating and cooling systems. Call us if you need help and we are more than happy to assist.

Know When to Buy a New Unit

When a furnace or air conditioner malfunctions, some homeowners would call a heating and AC repair service technician right away to get their unit repaired. If you call a technician more than once a year, we recommend you get a new one instead. Paying for repairs will cost you more in the long run; it would be better to invest in a new unit instead and possibly an energy-efficient unit to help you save more money.

Get Professional Maintenance

Although homeowners must also take time to clean some components of their heating and cooling systems, it’s also important to get a proper tune-up. The tune-up has to be performed by a reliable emergency heating and AC repair service technician to ensure the job is done properly. During the appointment, the technician will check the unit in its entirety and inspect it for any damages or problems that might lead to a costly repair in the future. If he suspects something is wrong, he will surely let you know.

You need the tune-up as this takes away all worries associated with your heating and cooling systems. The last thing you want is to wake up in the middle of a freezing night only to find out your furnace has suddenly malfunctioned. You can totally avoid this when you get your unit inspected at least a month before using it.

If you need an AC or furnace tune-up, call a trusted heating and AC repair service technician in your area today. And this is where we come in. Our technicians at One Hour Air Conditioning & Heating have been helping out homeowners and businesses in the past. When it comes to repairs, installations, inspections and tune-ups, we’re the best people for the job.

Never Ignore Warning Signs

As a homeowner, it’s your job to periodically check your heating or cooling systems for any signs of damage and other issues. If you suspect something may be wrong with it, please don’t hesitate to contact us anytime. You’ll be able to save more money if you actually do something right away and do not wait for months before calling an emergency repair service technician in your area. Don’t worry we’re just here to help. You can always call us, especially during emergencies because we operate 24/7.

Give Your AC and Furnace a Break

As mentioned in the article, it’s also important for the furnace and air conditioner to rest to maximize their service life. Constantly using without rest can also reduce the life of your unit and you’ll end up buying a new one in no time. Turn it off for a couple of hours each day to keep it efficient. If you have further questions, please don’t hesitate to contact an emergency heating and AC repair service technician.

How to Choose a Technician

So how do you select a heating and AC repair service technician? We have some tips below.

  1. Find out how long they have been in the business. Although hiring an established company doesn’t give you an assurance that the technician can do a good job, it does tell you that an old company is likely to deliver exceptional service. If they have been in the business that long, it means that they have good relationships with their clients and they are able to deliver high-quality service. When looking for a technician, find out first where he’s connected and if it’s an established company, we recommend you consider it. Of course, you need to also look at other factors such as how this company treats its customers — for example, do they respond to questions on time? How do they handle complaints?
  2. Ask your friends and family for any recommendations. When a technician delivers good service, the client will likely recommend him to another customer. If your friends or family live in the same area as you, why not ask them if they can recommend an HVAC company you can call? Ask about their experience with this particular company or technician and whether or not they are willing to recommend them. You might also want to consider reviews online when selecting a heating and AC repair service technician for your home.
  3. Ask if they are licensed and insured. Before hiring an emergency heating and AC repair service technician, do make sure he has the right license for it and he has insurance. You can’t hire someone who isn’t licensed to perform repair services in your area because if he makes a mistake, you will not be able to ask him to correct it. You will only end up paying someone else to correct his mistake.
  4. Do they offer emergency services? This is important. In case you need to call them in the wee hours, will this company accommodate your request? Make sure they operate 24 hours, 7 days a week so that you won’t have to call another technician in case you need emergency services in the middle of the night.
  5. Do they guarantee exceptional service? Go with companies that offer 100% customer satisfaction for your peace of mind. At One Hour Air Conditioning & Heating, rest assured that you’re backed with this guarantee.

12 Essential Tips For Choosing A Heating And AC Repair Company

12 Essential Tips For Choosing A Heating And AC Repair Company

When the weather turns too hot or too cold, the last thing you want is for your heating and AC system to fail. Unfortunately, HVAC systems are not invincible and can break down unexpectedly. When this happens, you need a reliable heating and AC repair company that you can trust to get your system up and running again. However, choosing the right repair company can be overwhelming, with many options available. To help you make an informed decision, we’ve compiled a list of essential tips for selecting an AC repair company. From experience to customer service, these tips will help you choose an HVAC company that meets your needs and exceeds your expectations.

Tips for Selecting an HVAC Repair Company

Do Some Research on Your HVAC Unit

If you want to hire the best heating and AC repair company for your air conditioner or heater, you need to know everything there is to know about your unit. Your HVAC system has specifics you should know, such as the model, brand, and service record. When you know your air conditioner or heater inside and out, it’s much easier to spot and fix any minor issues that may arise.

You can save money because you won’t have to hire a technician to address minor issues. But don’t kid yourself into thinking you can handle complex repairs on your own; instead, always consult an expert. Fort Worth is home to various HVAC repair companies; pick one with a solid reputation in the community.

Get Some Recommendations

If you don’t know where to start looking for AC repair, ask around to see if anyone you know can make a referral. You should talk to someone who has had success with HVAC repair in the past. They can give you an overview of the HVAC repair company they used and the level of service they received.

You can then use this information to investigate the company further on your own. Bringing up the fact that you heard about the firm through a referral might sometimes help both you and the person that recommended the HVAC repair company to you. You could receive further savings from the company.

Experience and Credentials

When hiring a commercial HVAC repair firm, you should ensure they have the credentials and experience to handle the work. They should hold a relevant license demonstrating that they have the necessary skills and experience to carry out the work safely and effectively.

You can usually find a company’s license number on its website. If not, then you can ask.

They should also carry insurance that protects both them and your home in the event of an accident. Otherwise, injuries or damage to equipment could become very expensive.

The longer the AC repair company has been around, the better. While a newly trained HVAC professional may be exceptionally skilled, you wouldn’t want to be a part of their learning curve. After all, it’s said it takes roughly 10,000 hours to achieve expert status in a given field.

Check the Company’s Specialties

It’s not enough to choose a heating and AC repair company with years of experience in the industry; you need to know that they’ve dealt with your same system and problem before. Your technician’s familiarity with your specific brand and model is essential to diagnosing and fixing any issues that may arise.

Because the systems required to cool and heat a commercial building are typically not the same as those found in a small home, commercial HVAC repair is distinct from its residential counterpart. Thus, at the very least, ensure they have extensive experience with commercial HVAC repair if that’s what you need.

Reputation

You shouldn’t automatically assume that a firm with a long history is the best option in your area. But if you find a local business that has been around for a while, that’s a good sign. Not only have they likely honed their skills over the years, but they also have a reputation in the area to uphold and wouldn’t be able to stay in operation otherwise. The reputation of an HVAC contractor in Fort Worth can be ascertained by talking to loved ones who have used their services. You could not get this with a new AC repair company.

Read Online Reviews

Once you’ve found a company that meets your licensing, insurance, and experience requirements, it’s time to read online reviews. You can read customer testimonials on the website or do a quick Google search to obtain third-party reviews.

A high aggregate rating is an excellent starting point, but reading individual reviews can help guarantee the following additional points:

  • Did people feel the company did a good job repairing their HVAC system?
  • Did people feel the company had open communication channels?
  • Was the job done promptly?
  • Were they professional and friendly?

In most cases, the absence of major complaints is enough to signify the above things, as people are more likely to talk about their negative than their positive experiences.

Cost of Repair

Before you hire a technician to fix your air conditioner or heater, you should request an estimate. All primary and tertiary expenses, including labor, materials, and utilities, should be covered in this estimate. Avoid hiring the least expensive technicians because they are often the least qualified. Find an AC repair company that meets your needs and stays within your budget.

Getting multiple quotes allows you to evaluate various providers’ costs, time, and features. Take notes and keep track of which service provider provides which services. You’ll then be able to pick the HVAC repair company that best suits your needs.

Communication

The speed with which a heating and AC repair company responds to your queries indicates how seriously they take their work. Almost all HVAC companies have websites where you can chat with a customer support agent live, email, or call them for assistance. The average response time for reputable businesses is twelve hours. If they can satisfactorily address your concerns and you feel confident moving forward with their service, you can expect a positive outcome.

If they are impatient or rude, you can always find another AC repair company. As crucial as hiring qualified specialists is, it is also necessary to feel comfortable with and trust them.

Consider After-Repair Services

Choose a heating and AC repair company in Fort Worth that does a great job and provides follow-up maintenance. They should be willing to come back and fix your AC or heater for free if it breaks down again within a month. In addition, maintaining your HVAC system regularly is essential for optimal performance. You can avoid spending money on expensive repairs by keeping up with routine checks.

Emergency HVAC Repair Services

There’s no telling what time of day or night your air conditioner or heater will break down. To that end, you should look for an AC repair company that provides 24-hour service. Everyone wants an HVAC technician to arrive as quickly as possible, no matter the time of day—3 in the morning or noon. A heating and AC repair company that provides emergency services will have the edge over other companies.

Discounts and Offers

If you’re concerned about your HVAC repair costs being too high, then have no fear! Finding reputable service providers who provide fair deals and discounts is now easier than ever with the help of online resources and print media.

Browse your preferred coupon sites and discount periodicals to determine which businesses provide the most value for your money and time. Check for customer reviews of the discounts you uncover to take things to the next level. You can get a feel for which deals are worthwhile.

Consider Other Perks

Apart from all the above things, you can consider the following perks:

  • Does the company offer any warranties on repairs?
  • Does the company have deals for first-time customers?
  • Will the company provide a free diagnosis of the issue before performing repairs?
  • Does the company have financing options to cover the cost of repairs?

All these things are a bonus.

Red Flags to Watch Out for When Choosing a Heating and AC Repair Service

One Person Operation

A one-person AC repair company is run by an individual who prefers to choose their hours. As problems with air conditioning often occur unexpectedly and demand immediate care, this may not be the best option. One-person operations usually do not have emergency support available around the clock. Sometimes they’re accessible, but they’re not interested in working due to prior commitments, or they take forever to show up and fix the issue.

A one-person operation typically cannot take on numerous jobs at once and does not consider the ongoing needs of homeowners. It is also easy for independent contractors of this type to uproot their operations and set up shop elsewhere in the country. This increases the likelihood that you’ll have to shop for a new heating and AC repair company. A reliable HVAC repair service understands the importance of maintaining a steady clientele. The lack of versatility typically seen when working with sole proprietors is another drawback of choosing them for HVAC repair services.

Lack of Insurance

Sometimes even fully licensed HVAC companies do not carry the necessary insurance to conduct HVAC repairs. If that’s the case, you might end up footing the bill for the HVAC company’s costly mistakes. Injury is the most expensive error. If your HVAC technician does not have insurance and is injured on your property, you will be responsible for all costs associated with their care, including medical bills and legal fees.

Any damage done to your home during the repair process by an uninsured AC repair company will be your financial responsibility. The same applies if the HVAC work causes damage to your neighbor’s home. The best way to avoid this is to hire a fully licensed and insured heating and AC repair company.

Negative Reviews

While it’s true that no HVAC company is perfect, a flood of negative reviews should be cause for concern. Some homeowners are just impossible to please, so a small number of negative reviews is to be expected. You should read the negative reviews if you want to know if you should be concerned about a company.

In case of a negative review, any business worth its salt will do one of two things. If a customer has a valid complaint, the AC repair company will fix the problem at no cost to the customer. If a customer is hard to please, the company will offer an explanation and an apology (for instance, if a customer isn’t seeing much of a difference after an upgrade, the company can direct the customer on what they can do to get that difference).

Unusually Low Prices

While it’s understandable that you’d like to get the most value for your money, selecting an AC repair company based solely on price may not be in your best interest. An abnormally low quote for repair services may indicate you will not receive thorough, high-quality HVAC repairs. If this is the case, you could be looking at hundreds of dollars in upkeep and repairs down the road.

You Can’t Get Satisfactory Answers to Your Questions

When a technician evaluates the state of your HVAC system, don’t be afraid to ask questions to help you understand the situation better. An inexperienced contractor will likely give you a laundry list of things that require fixing without providing insight into what caused the issue or how to avoid it from occurring again. Conversely, if you hire a seasoned contractor, they will answer all your inquiries openly and honestly.

Stay Cozy and Save Money with One Hour Air Conditioning & Heating of Fort Worth

Before contacting a heating and AC repair company to fix your HVAC system, ensure they check all the relevant boxes. Research the company extensively, get a detailed quote, read testimonials and recommendations, check credentials, and double-check that the technicians are licensed and insured.

What You Need To Know About AC Repair And Your HVAC System

What You Need To Know About AC Repair And Your HVAC System

It’s not hot yet, but it’s getting there. Is your air conditioning system ready for the long summer season ahead? When was the last time you had HVAC maintenance or a tune-up of your air conditioning system? Now is the ideal time to have professional maintenance performed on your unit. If repairs are needed, your AC technician can perform them before the weather heats up. One Hour Air Conditioning & Heating of Fort Worth specializes in professional HVAC services, including air conditioning maintenance and repair solutions. When it comes to repairing your system, there are some things you need to remember to ensure that your air conditioning stands up to the intense Texas heat.

Investigate Noises

Unusual noises coming from your HVAC system demand investigation. If you begin using your air conditioning system later this spring and summer and begin to hear noises that you don’t typically hear from your unit, you might need AC repair. There are various types of noises that might give you cause for concern. These include:

Outdoor Unit Is Clicking

If you hear clicking noises while your system is running, there’s a strong possibility that there’s some type of obstruction caught in the outdoor unit’s fan. This might be a pebble or small twig. If you’re comfortable, you can check the unit’s fan (once the unit/electricity) is turned off, or you can contact us to send a skilled AC technician to check it out. After removing the obstruction, you should no longer hear the clicking noise. If you hear clicking noises but the unit isn’t running or won’t turn on, there may be an electrical issue that needs repairing.

Gurgling Sounds

Most property owners associate gurgling noises with plumbing problems, but it is possible to hear gurgling or bubbling sounds coming from your unit’s condensate drain line. This often means that a clog is developing. A maintenance checkup is called for in this type of situation. However, don’t put it off as gurgling and bubbling noises can also point to the possibility of a refrigerant leak. A refrigerant leak is a serious issue that demands AC repair by a certified tech.

Clanging Noises

If you heat clanging noises emanating from your outdoor air conditioning unit, it’s possible that either the fan has become loose or there’s an obstruction in the unit that the fan blades are hitting. Our technicians can check the fan mount to be sure it’s secure and identify if there are other causes of the clanging noise.

High-Pitched Hissing Noises

If you hear high-pitched hissing, it’s important to shut off the unit and contact us for AC repair. Often, this sound points to pressure buildup in the compressor. While AC units should have auto safety shut offs, it’s best to shut down the system yourself if the unit is still running.

Screeching

The sound of metal-on-metal screeching often points to fan problems again. Your fan’s motor bearings tend to be the cause of this issue. You’ll need to have our technician replace these bearings as soon as possible. It’s best not to use your air conditioning until the wearing bearings are replaced. If they fail, their failure can cause damage to other parts of your unit.

Squealing

If you hear a squealing noise, it’s often related to a worn-out fan belt. This is an indication that you should have the belt replaced. If it goes out, you’ll be left without air conditioning until our AC repair technician can make the replacement.

Fire Hazards

Air conditioning systems aren’t immune from fire hazards. It’s important to remember that the peak time for air conditioning system fires occurs during the summer months, not surprisingly, when these units are working overtime. Annual maintenance and timely AC repair can help you reduce the risk of a fire caused by a malfunctioning air conditioning system. Fires can be caused by anything from problems with cable insulation to mechanical/electrical system failures.

When our technicians inspect and maintain your unit each spring before peak summer season, we can look for signs of wearing parts and replace them before they can trigger a serious problem that may be associated with a fire risk. By replacing worn parts, you can also reduce the risk of unpleasant breakdowns that leave you without your air conditioning system, at least until it can be repaired.

If you notice that your air conditioning system isn’t working optimally, it’s best to let a technician have a look. There are many reasons why air conditioning systems malfunction, but it’s never a good idea to put off repairs. By ignoring the signs of needed AC repair, you could be operating the unit unsafely.

Leaks

Leaks in or around your air conditioning unit should be properly investigated by a trained HVAC technician. Even if the leak just appears to be water and not refrigerant, it could point to a serious issue for your unit. One of the most common causes of an air conditioning leak stems from the drain line. Mud or other debris may get caught in the drain line and cause a blockage. That means the water from the unit can properly drain, so it leaks from places it shouldn’t.

A cracked drain pan is another common cause of air conditioning system leaks. If your drain pan is cracked, it will need to be replaced. A dirty air filter can also lead to a leak. How? It can cause condenser coils to ice up. As the ice melts, you’ll see water pooling from the system. This type of problem, if left unaddressed, can cause major problems for your air conditioning unit and lead to breakdowns.

A refrigerant leak demands fast attention from your HVAC tech. Leaking refrigerant isn’t healthy for the environment, and it can cause damage to your AC system. In addition, you may notice that your system isn’t cooling off your home. If you experience any leaking from your air conditioner, contact us for a service call. Many of these types of repairs are minor, but if you ignore them, the result could be major problems sooner than you think.

Humidity

When your air conditioning system is working properly, you shouldn’t have a humidity problem in your home. If your AC system isn’t controlling interior humidity, there could be a number of reasons why. First, your unit may not be the right size. Even a unit that is too large for your home will not control interior temperature or humidity adequately. This is why it’s crucial to consult with a professional HVAC technician when selecting an air conditioning system for your house.

Assuming that your AC system is the right size for your home, the humidity problem could be traced to dirty AC coils. This is another reason why annual maintenance, especially in spring, is so important. During tune-ups and inspections, our technician can clean the coils and prevent issues like this from arising. If the coils are clean and the humidity problem persists, you may need to have your system’s airflow adjusted.

Finally, humidity problems might also point to problems with your home’s ventilation system. Spot ventilation might help–using exhaust fans in the bathroom and kitchen, for instance. On the other hand, let a trained technician assess the problem to ensure that something else isn’t going on that demands immediate AC repair.

Something Smells

Unpleasant odors are a sign that, at the very least, you need air conditioning system maintenance. A burning odor should prompt you to shut off the unit and call for an immediate inspection. A mechanical or electrical problem can cause this type of odor and worse. Often, burning odors indicate that there’s a wiring issue or problem with wire or cable insulation. In any case, you would need to contact a certified HVAC pro to inspect and fix this problem.

Another type of odor you might experience is a musty smell. Mold contamination of your system can cause mold spores to multiply and be released throughout your home. This can cause health problems for you, your household–even your pets if not addressed. If you recently had a humidity problem with your AC, it could have triggered mold growth and the musty odors you’re experiencing.

Keep in mind that mold also has a tendency to develop in AC units over the winter as they sit unused. This is another reason why springtime maintenance is important. If your air conditioner has developed a mold problem, let a skilled technician inspect it. It’s important to learn the extent of the mold problem in order to remediate it successfully. Heavy mold and mildew deposits can be a health risk. In severe cases, it may even be necessary to replace the unit. If mold is growing in your home’s vents, you’ll likely need professionals to tackle it.

Warm Air Flow

Another common reason customers call us for AC repair is when their vents are blowing warm air. Warm air problems may point to a dirty or clogged air filter. Dirty air filters are the cause of many problems, but they are one of the easiest parts of an air conditioning system to maintain. It’s crucial to change the air filter at least every 90 days. If you have allergy sufferers in your home, consider changing it more often. Some newer systems might necessitate a change every six months, but to be safe, follow the manufacturer’s suggestions or advice from your HVAC tech.

If your air filter is clean, the warm air problem can occur when the evaporator coils freeze. This problem can be caused by a clogged condensate drain. After clearing the clog, the coils will need to unfreeze before the unit will function properly again. Although some property owners might be comfortable turning off the unit to clean the condensate drain, you may want to let a technician inspect the unit fully after clearing the clog for you, especially if you haven’t had annual maintenance on the unit.

Another cause of warm air blowing from the vent could be issues with the vents themselves. Leaks in the vents can lead to warm air flow. You’ll want to make sure that all of your ducts are completely sealed. If you suspect duct leaks, you can contact our team for maintenance.

Rapid Cycling

During the intense heat of our peak summer season, it’s certainly not uncommon for air conditioning systems to work overtime. You may not be surprised to hear your unit kicking on more than it did earlier in the season. However, if you begin to notice rapid cycling, there could be a problem. If this occurs soon after new unit installation, it could be a sign that the unit is the wrong size for the home. However, there are various other causes for short cycling too.

Rapid or short cycling can be caused by airflow problems. You’ll want to make sure that there are no obstructions within three feet of your outdoor unit. Something as seemingly benign as a lawn chair propped up against your outdoor unit can cause issues like this. Of course, even something as simple as a dirty air filter can also cause short cycling. While these are easy fixes, the problem may be more serious and require skilled AC repair. For instance, low refrigerant due to a leak or a leaky duct can also cause short cycling. Short cycling is bad for the unit, so be sure to have it serviced as soon as possible, and you may want to avoid using the unit until it’s repaired in order to prevent more damage from occurring.

Call us to schedule maintenance and any repairs your unit may need now so that your AC will be ready to cool off your home all summer long.

At One Hour Air Conditioning & Heating of Fort Worth, Our HVAC pros are certified and experienced. Your air conditioning system is in safe hands with us. We’ll troubleshoot any issues it’s having and provide the ideal fix.
